500 is a 500 mile Sprint Cup Series race held annually at the Daytona International
Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is one of four restrictor plate
races on the Cup schedule. Matt Kenseth is the defending champion of the
race. The winner of the Daytona 500 is presented with the Harley J. Earl
Trophy in Victory Lane, and the winning car is displayed, in race-winning
condition, for one year at Daytona 500 Experience, a museum and gallery
adjacent to Daytona International Speedway.

Tickets for the 2010 NASCAR
Weekend are on sale now. We have lowered the price of all Weekend Packages
and Sunday-only tickets. Some tickets start as low as $49 - a 50% savings
from the same seat a year ago. The annual NASCAR Weekend will be a February
affair in 2010. Next year's event will take place Feb. 26-28. It marks
the first year the Shelby American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event will
be run in February.
